During the meeting Peter Lichtenberg made several exciting suggestions for Aleh Foundation’s upcoming 2012 Awards Dinner to be held on May 16, in the Museum of Jewish Heritage.  For the past six years Mr. Lichtenberg served as journal chairperson and introduced many of his colleagues to support the treatment and education for Israel’s most severely developmentally disabled infants and children.  He pledged to continue his mission to support and promote Aleh Foundation’s activities, enabling the Foundation to use the funds raised to be sent to Israel’s disabled children and orphans.

For the past 22 years, the Aleh Foundation’s highly professional public relations and fund raising activities have taken the Aleh Centers in Israel from a small hospice to one of Israel’s foremost providers of care, treatment and education of the country’s most severely developmentally disabled infants and children.

A raffle drawing for 4 round-trip tickets to Israel will be held at the closing of the 2012 Annual Awards Dinner. The proceeds from the raffle will help many such children to have healthier and happier lives.
